What is Happiness?
Hi, Welcome to my blog! I am not a professional writer, I might not be as good or creative with my writing skills, but is writing really about skills or the message? I hope I can deliver the message effectively since it’s my first attempt at writing the blog. Thank you!

Here, on a Saturday morning sitting at the deck of the library, feeling cool breeze touching my body, passing through the sheer shirt, touching my heart, my ears, my eyes closed, wind in my hair, I am feeling this moment, and I don't want this moment to end. This is the moment. This is the right moment to write something good or something positive, and yes, that’s the best thing to do – writing my first blog.
Finding solace in my solitude, when every inch of my body feels happiness.
And then all at once, my body and brain collide with one word – ‘Happiness’. What is happiness?
And then I started thinking that how do I define happiness? What is happiness to me and the world out there? Is it the same feeling for everyone?
After having thousands of thoughts in one moment, my brain couldn’t take it and then I had to relax. Not pushing myself with finding the best answer. And then I realized all of it.
The concept of happiness!
Happiness is not a feeling, it’s an emotion. And every individual feels it differently at a different level and intensity. There is no ideal answer to the question of defining happiness.

For a kid, making his first friend is happiness! – not being afraid of coming out of the comfort zone and seeing the new world where no one knows you.
For a friend, sharing his food with you is happiness! – not seeing his own self starving.
For a teacher, receiving a Thank You note is happiness! – not feeling valued by everyone.

For a father, seeing his daughter marrying the man of her dream is happiness! – not realizing that he won’t be able to go out for a walk every evening with her.

For kids, Christmas is happiness! – not worrying about all cold and snow.
…. And infinite happiness and no worries!
Happiness is what and how you see! It’s the way you choose seeing the world.
Don’t you think that most of the problems could be easily resolved if you simply change the way of looking at the things, situations, and people around you? We got one life, then why do we waste it worrying so much about the future, surroundings, expectations and all the stress? Why can’t we seize the moment and not let the moment seize us! Why can’t we take the charge of our own life and end the question “How’s life treating you?”
Is life really a race, if yes, who knows you are winning or losing it? Can’t we end this race and cherish the lives our way? Before we win or lose, make sure we are happy with the life we live! :)
