Then God sent me the man I am called to be with!

Dear readers of our little family,

I have been away since quite long, so many things to write and share about. It was a time off from writing, with all the new experiences and sudden changes in my life in last couple months. I am so glad things happened - truly blessed. So, I can’t complaint.

Today, I am writing a blog about how him - a man of my life! Yes, I am engaged! Yayy!

When I was looking for a cliché forever kind of love, I have been told so many times that the love was looking for was not worth a try. They thought you can’t have it all. Little did they know I was not looking for a perfect man, I was looking for a man I am supposed to be with - the plans God had for me. They say, you get butterflies, you have endless conversations, all the calls from dusk till dawn, you go on dates, travel together. No, that was not something I was looking for. I was looking for a person who I can have my struggles with, a person who is calm, subtle, sincere and genuine. All I wanted was a man who is kind and patient. Kind enough to help others and do not hurt anyone, and patient to trust the time. And then I met Nipun. :)

Dear Nipun,

Today for the first time, I am being vocal to express my love for you.

Nipun, you are a blessing to my life, the best person I could share everything and anything. I am so grateful having you by my side for rest of the life. Choosing you was the purest decision I made with my faith in God. You complete me in every single way. We are completely different, yet our roots and values are the same and that is why, despite all the differences, we are together. I always plan things ahead of time, from me being punctual to all the little details I focus on. I want things to be either perfect or I would rather not do it. From me being 99% perfect and you being imperfect, you win with all the cleanliness and keeping a place tidy. It really takes a man like you to be with me. I truly and genuinely appreciate your patience. Ours is not a fairy tale, but I have complete trust in you and our relationship. I promise to be with you and start the divine relationship by building a strong foundation with all the love and respect I have for you. Just trust me when I say, I am right! ;)

Nipun, I am so proud of everything you did, from all the struggles to success you have had in your life. I promise to give my everything and support to build our better future and have a complete family, exactly the way we imagined it. We deserve this. After all, everything we do, God has better plans for us than we do. I promise to have all my trust, faith, love, respect, support, loyalty and honesty for you.

Like my father says, “Live a life with ethics, integrity and honesty. Then no one in your life will ever disrespect you. So even when you die, people will remember you for the character you had, not the money that you earned.” I shall continue to follow all the values that I gained from my parents and family.

Thank you for believing me, trusting my choice and appreciating my freedom and independence.

You are worth the wait. Now and forever, you are my man!
